About Me

Hi there!

My name is Nadya, and I'm a senior International Relations and Russian Studies double major with minors in Journalism and Museum Studies. I've filmed and edited videos for UD courses, independent projects, the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, and The Review, the University of Delaware's independent student newspaper. However, when it comes to traditional photography, save for a few crash courses given to me by friends, my experience is limited — and I'm eager to learn.

Course Goals

1. Learn the fundamentals of basic photography utilizing various photography styles, equipment, and subject matter

2. Become comfortable using a camera across varying contexts, from natural settings to public events

3. Conceptualize and successfully bring to life to original photographs while discovering and solidifying my own creative vision
